before that it is seen reversing towards 50 steps over asher lane crossing it crawled across this point, i believe it was due to a faulty FPL the smoke gets blacker.. ..and blacker! 6430 now getting going 6430 seen leaving 50 steps later seen on the return having jsut crossed asher lane but regulator was shut when he passed me! 6430 coasts towards ruddington now passing me, he opened up again after this!!

Was then piloted to 50s steps by our 25 D7629. Heres a few picture from the event, which was first diesel railtour into the GCR(N) and we think the first time a mainline diesel tour has been piloted on heritage railway metals by its own loco! Few other records dicussed included someone being the first passenger to alight at rushcliffe halt from london in 40 years! not to mention the most passengers rushcliffe halt has ever seen..
